CAIRNS FESTIVAL 2025 || Grand Parade + Fireworks

It’s the most spectacular night of the year – and you’re invited!🎆

The Cairns Festival Grand Parade & Fireworks is back to light up the Esplanade in a tropical technicolour explosion of music, magic, and community spirit.

Expect dancing queens, dazzling floats, giant puppets, marching bands, and more local legends than you can poke a palm frond at.

It all kicks off at 5.30PM with the Grand Parade winding its fabulous way along the Esplanade, followed by a jaw-dropping fireworks finale over the water from 7.30PM.

Bring a picnic rug, your loudest cheer, and your inner show pony – this is a Cairns moment you won’t want to miss.

Free, family-friendly and full of feel-good vibes – this is the heart of Cairns Festival.
